Trauma Informed Care Training

Join the Institute for Community Alliances in welcoming Jennifer Jackson with Heartland Counseling Services to talk about Trauma Informed Care.  This Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) session is based on a strengths-based approach that acknowledges the physical, psychological, and emotional impact of trauma on people's lives. The TIC session aims to create a safe environment for survivors and to help people rebuild a sense of control and empowerment.

  • This training can be used towards your Coordinated Entry Certified Assessor renewal in the fall and meets the requirements of completing Trauma Informed Care training once every three years. All are welcome to attend any of these training sessions, so please forward this information to your peers and other partners in your work.
