Coordinated Entry & Service Regions

Coordinated Entry refers to the process used to assess and assist in meeting the housing needs of people at-risk of homelessness and people experiencing homelessness. It allows for a streamlined approach to services and prioritizes those with the highest barriers to housing instead of a “first come, first served” approach. In Iowa, there are 14 regions operating Coordinated Entry.
