About the Board

The Iowa Balance of State Continuum of Care Board of Directors serves as the primary decision-making body for the Continuum of Care and helps guide efforts to prevent and end homelessness.

Made up of 11-18 individuals from across the Balance of State’s geographic area and across the spectrum of services, this group hosts public meetings on a regular basis. Partners, providers, and members of the community are welcome to attend.

The IA BoS CoC Board meets monthly, on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meetings are held virtually at 2 pm. Occasionally, meetings may also be held at the call of the the Chair or whenever a majority of Board members request.
