Our presenter for this session is Caitlyn Kupka from Friends of the Family. This session will review the Equal Access rule and provide perspective on best practice use with Equal Access in connecting people to housing services and Coordinated Entry.
As a reminder, Certified Assessors are required to complete an Equal Access training every three years. This training will fulfill that requirement for the Certified Assessor renewal process. Certificates of attendance will be emailed to all of those in attendance. Please make sure each staff member attends this training from their own device to ensure attendance is recorded accurately.

CoC Grant Competition Task Group
The Iowa Balance of State CoC Grant Competition Task Group meets the 1st Monday of each month at 2 pm.
Street Outreach Collaboration
This workgroup is a chance for outreach and other program staff to discuss best practices and challenges in conducting street outreach and PIT counts. This meeting is open to anyone no matter the funding stream they utilize to help unsheltered individuals connect to resources and housing.
